Hold onto your hats, music fans: Eminem finally shared a teaser for the “River” music video. The rapper offered his Twitter followers a sneak peek of the upcoming video by tweeting out the teaser and wishing everyone an “Unhappy Valentine’s Day,” (we know what movies he’ll be watching this month) announcing that the full video will drop on the holiday, Feb. 14.
The gritty sneak peek shows a couple yelling at one another before being interviewed on a handheld camera by someone with a British voice, who we can only assume is Ed Sheeran, who duets with the rapper on the track. It then shows Eminem talking about what love means to him, and then switches back to Sheeran, who makes an appearance with the wonderfully romantic line: “If you don’t have the trust element, you’re f*cked.”
Both artists have been busy lately. Eminem is ready to drop his new album, and he tugged at everyone’s heartstrings when he performed “Walk on Water” on the MTV EMAs stage last November. As for Sheeran, he’s reportedly been asked to perform at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming wedding, and he himself recently got engaged to his girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn. We can only assume they have plenty of the “trust element.”
